Alexander Christian Jobe

Dr. Alexander Jobe received his Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology where he was also a board director for the faculty of Education. He received his Doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry’s Accelerated Scholar’s program while also completing advanced studies in Neuro-Ophthalmic disease.

He currently practices full scope Optometry in New Jersey at Marano Eye Care with a special interest in the pathophysiology and treatment of neuropathic ocular disease. Through Marano Eye care he is affiliated with two hospitals; Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston NJ and St. Michael’s Hospital in Newark NJ. At St. Micael’s Dr. Jobe occasionally helps teach 4th-year medical students during their ophthalmology clinical rotations.

His philanthropic work includes regularly volunteering at the New Jersey Special Olympics “Opening Eyes” where athletes from all over the state receive free eye exams. Dr. Jobe’s writing and speaking interests usually have emphasized on bringing multiple big scientific ideas together to provide new insight and perspective to relevant clinical literature.
