AAO 2020 meeting switches to virtual format
The American Academy of Ophthalmology has canceled its in-person annual meeting scheduled to take place in Las Vegas later this year. Instead, the AAO is hosting a virtual meeting.
“The Academy will present a virtual-only event to engage and connect members and to deliver the critical scientific and clinical information that you expect from the most important ophthalmology meeting of the year,” wrote the AAO on their website.
Attendees who had already registered for the in-person meeting will be sent information by Wednesday, August 12.
