Johnson & Johnson Vision launches global initiative, Vision Made Possible, to champion eye health
Johnson & Johnson Vision, announced its new initiative, Vision Made Possible, a global endeavor that aims to raise awareness and stimulate conversations about the critical importance of eye health at every stage of life.
The Vision Made Possible initiative will delve into the personal narratives of patients worldwide, as well as eye care professionals specializing in various eye diseases, such as myopia, presbyopia, and cataracts. These stories will highlight the transformations that improved vision has brought to their lives, while also emphasizing the importance of comprehensive eye care.
In a collaborative effort with professional photographer Kate T. Parker, Johnson & Johnson Vision plans to capture authentic stories of patients. Parker is recognized for her contemporary and highly-stylized approach to visual art and photography.
“I know the importance of early intervention for healthy vision on a personal level because I’ve navigated eye health issues firsthand and so has my family, so the opportunity to work on this project is so important to me. The opportunity to amplify these stories and capture the power, humanity, and authenticity of how healthier sight has truly transformed these patients’ lives is so rewarding,” Parker said.
