New Patient Financial Engagement Services improves patient payments

Posted on

MedEvolve, Inc launched its US-based Patient Financial Engagement Services, offering patient financial counseling services to physicians. The service allows physicians to create better experiences for their patients while capturing more revenue, according to a company press release.

Through the service, trained counselors work with patients to help them understand their financial responsibility and payment options. Communication is done via phone, text, and email.

According to the press release, the service will also take phone calls regarding patient statements on behalf of physician groups.

“We believe patients deserve the same high level of care for their financial well-being as they can expect for their health. At the same time, physician practices are facing some of the tightest operational margins in decades and need solutions that help them increase profitability and maximize revenue capture,” said Matt Rolfes, Chief Executive Officer of MedEvolve, in a statement. “Our new Patient Financial Engagement Services address both needs by improving provider-patient partnerships and bottom-line performance.”
