Predicting Pressure Reduction Prior to SLT

Posted on

In patients undergoing selective laser trabeculoplasty, it is probably helpful for the surgeon to understand the impact of corneal hysteresis on tonometry measures, it was recently reported. Pressure reduction response is dependent on whether corneal hysteresis is high or low. The article goes on to explain how to measure hysteresis, and how to use the information it produces during patient counseling sessions.
