Dr. Abugo currently practices Orbital and Facial Cosmetic Surgery in Virginia and is on faculty at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Through her journey to this point in her career she has never been able to forget her mentors. Because of this, Dr. Abugo has created an active social media mentoring platform under @MentorMeMD where she mentors many healthcare professionals. Through the AAO/AUPO/MOM program she avidly mentors the next generation. Dr. Abugo has guided trainees of all levels who have dreams for excellence in medicine. In ophthalmology. Dr. Abugo has served on various program committees for WIO, NMA, and AAO. In addition to this has served as the co-chair for WIO 2020.
