Sight Sciences has introduced the OMNI Edge Surgical System, the latest addition to its glaucoma treatment portfolio, set to debut at the 2025 ASCRS Annual Meeting.
Building on the original OMNI Surgical System, OMNI Edge features TruSync technology for precise, synchronized viscoelastic delivery and nearly double the capacity (21 µL). It treats all 3 points of resistance in the eye’s drainage system and is suitable for use across all stages of primary open-angle glaucoma, either alone or with cataract surgery.
Dr. Christine Funke, an early adopter, praised the enhanced control and versatility of the system. The device retains the ergonomic design of the original OMNI, making it easy for surgeons to adopt.
