Soft contact lens users report cleaner, more comfortable wear with Biotrue Hydration Plus

Biotrue Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution was linked to high satisfaction and strong comfort ratings in a 7-day in-home study of soft contact lens wearers, according to a study.
In the real-world survey, 435 adult soft contact lens users used the solution for 7 days and then completed a questionnaire about their experience. More than 60% of participants reported baseline contact lens dryness and tired eyes. Investigators also noted that 8% of participants said they were likely to discontinue contact lens wear at baseline.
At the end of the trial period, 98.9% of participants said they were satisfied with how their lenses felt. Agreement exceeded 50% across all evaluated measures, with participants reporting positive effects on:

-Lens cleanliness (96.8%)
-Keeping lenses comfortable so eyes did not feel tired (93.1%)
-Maintaining comfort (94.7%)
-Preventing dryness (93.6%)
-Comfort during extended screen use (92.0%)

-Being gentle on the eyes (96.6%)
In addition, 94% said they would recommend the solution to other contact lens wearers.
No adverse events were reported during the study.
