ASRS Annual Meeting to be Held Virtually
The American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) will hold its annual meeting online from July 24-26, 2020.
In a letter to ASRS members, Timothy Murray, MD, MBA, ASRS President, and Philip Ferrone, MD, Program Chair, said the 2020 ASRS Annual Meeting, which was scheduled to take place during the same time period in Seattle, could not happen in person due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“Knowing that the most important developments in retina are presented at our Annual Meeting, we plan to deliver the latest research to the global community using a virtual format that respects the contributions of the authors,” said Dr Murray and Dr Ferrone in the letter.
