He works closely with the Chief Medical Editor to develop and deliver appropriate content. His ultimate goal is to stay true to the Ophthalmology 360® mission and everything it stands for.

Dean is an award-winning writer, editor, and publisher, with specific expertise in healthcare media and continuing education. He has helped launch hundreds of medical education programs over a 35-plus year career. Dean is the former Editor in Chief and Publisher of Ophthalmology Times. Under his direction, the Ophthalmology Times team was recognized in the Jesse H. Neal Awards competition–the most prestigious editorial honors in the field of specialized journalism–for its analysis of Medicare reimbursement for cataract surgery.
