Bausch + Lomb has announced the commercial launch of its enVista Aspire monofocal and toric intraocular lenses (IOLs) in the European Union, following CE Mark approval last year, according to a press release.
These lenses incorporate Intermediate Optimized optics, designed to provide a broader depth of focus, combined with the established features of the enVista platform.
Already available in the United States, enVista Aspire monofocal IOLs enhance vision beyond a single focal point and utilize glistening-free optic material with StableFlex™ Technology for controlled unfolding and optic recovery. The toric version offers a +0.90 cylinder design to treat astigmatism under one diopter, with AccuSet haptics ensuring rotational stability.
