Mina Farahani

Mina Farahani, MD, MS, is a board-certified cornea, external disease and refractive specialist at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston (OCB). She also serves as associate staff at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and the New England Eye Center at Tufts Medical Center. Through the OCB/Tufts combination cornea fellowship, she is involved in the medical and surgical training of each year’s fellows. Dr. Farahani completed her ophthalmology residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. She then went on to pursue a cornea, refractive and complex anterior segment fellowship at the University of California, Irvine.  Dr. Farahani is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the New England Ophthalmological Society and Women in Ophthalmology. Dr. Farahani’s research interests include neurotrophic keratitis, limbal stem cell deficiency, and ocular surface disease. Dr. Farahani is passionate about providing patient-centered care while engaging in clinical research to further expand treatment and diagnostic options for her patients.
